Texas Cottage Food Law allows small food businesses to sell homemade food items directly to customers without needing a commercial kitchen or a food manufacturing license.
Texas Cottage Law applies to home-based food businesses that make and sell non-potentially hazardous foods. These are foods that do not require refrigeration to stay safe. You're likely covered if you bake, dehydrate, or create shelf-stable goods from your home kitchen!
Some popular foods allowed under Texas Cottage Law include:

✔ Dry mixes (soups, spice blends, teas, coffee blends)
